The brewery is in partnership with the Geoparc of Haute-Provence recently and I decided to dedicate a page and the bottom of the site.
You can access the official website by clicking on their logo to the left of this text.
Why a partnership with the Geopark?
Because it preserves a territory, values it in its knowledge and its know-how. The Digne country is at the heart of the Geopark of Haute-Provence and at the heart of the very existence of Geopark in the world. It is almost a duty to defend and value it.
But what does beer have to do with a geopark?
Geoparks of the world not only protect a territory for their forests, their massifs, their plant and animal diversities, they also care to protect and value the human in this territory, its know-how and its traditions. I do not forget that beer with more than 5000 years of history in the company of man and that the water that composes it to 90% is the most important thing on earth and also source of life.
Protecting and valuing the water of our massifs as well as our massifs themselves are two indispensable things, so de facto, the brewery undertakes to use as little as possible of this water so important.
250hl of beer a year, this is the limit set at the brewery, no race for overproduction, this brewery is sized to human size.
View of much of the Geopark from the top of the Blayeul massif in the background of the site.
