The Brasserie Auzetane was born on 11 May 2015 in the commune of Auzet in the Department of the Alpes of Haute-Provence (04), not far from Digne les Bains, in the Massif of Monges as well as in the Geopark of Haute-Provence.
Above, some pictures of the evolution of the renovation.
Launched by passion and with a modest ambition, that of bringing to the country Digne a beer of quality, brewed with a water of controlled source, malt of barley and wheat organic malted in the Ardèche by a cooperative malting the name of Maltas Echos. The organic hops when he comes from Alsace from the agricultural counter. (for the year 2016 the stocks of organic hops were low and exhausted so quickly that we did not succeed in obtaining them). The most used for our beers is the Strisselspalt variety which is the French reference hops. No chemical additives are used in our beers to support foam, or change the taste. As much as we need to relearn to eat healthily, it is necessary to do the same for our beverages! Its virtues are no longer to be demonstrated but attention, always in moderation, these are tasting beers eh!
We are in 2017 and the brewery has just returned in partnership with the Geoparc of Haute-Provence and increases its production to move from a production of 800 bottles of 33CL per month to 6000 bottles of 33cl per month! The Auzetane brewery would like to thank the Municipality of Auzet for its support since the launch and for the local of the old sawmill of the new village.
